Café Heuvel

A unique art print of Café Heuvel, one of the oldest cafés in Amsterdam. Located on the Prinsengracht, in the center of the city, you will find this small cafe on the corner. Inside, the regulars sit and catch up while enjoying a beer. When you pass the café on your bike and you see people you know there is no other way than to stop, park you bike and go for it.

This cafe has the most fun slogan of all cafés in Amsterdam : 'Als ik sneuvel dan bij heuvel', which means something like - 'If I fall, I'll do that at Heuvel', a slogan with a logic that cannot be tampered with. After an hour of drinking at Heuvel, try cycling up one of the two bridges near the café, the one over the Spiegelgracht or the one over the Prinsengracht, better stay in your place while at Heuvel :).
