The NN Marathon Rotterdam took place on Saturday 15 and 16 of April 2023. Over 40.000 runners made it to the finish. To celebrate the courage and perseverance of these sports enthusiasts, Chris Lily James created a unique serie of  Marathon drawings, created by hand with her favorite precision fountain pen. 

Here you see a female figure colored in pink, running as hard as she can, with the skyline and logo of Rotterdam in the background. 

This drawing is the perfect gift for those superwoman who made it to the finish, fast or slow. It is the effort that counts and that effort deserves to become a forever memory on the wall.
