The Haagsche Bierkluis in The Hague, right on the famous Plein.
When I was a teenager, this was the place to be—I had so many unforgettable nights here.
Long before it became a café and restaurant, it was home to a Jewish banker and his family, with a large vault that now serves as the kitchen.
Built in 1905 in art-nouveau style, the building is full of beautiful details you only notice when you zoom in or stand in front of it. I drew it in ink to capture that timeless vibe—real, a little grand, and rich with detail.
This art print is the perfect gift for anyone who loves this place, has special memories here, or simply appreciates unique buildings with a story. It’s even listed as a national monument.
