The NN Marathon Rotterdam took place on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April 2022. Over 40.000 runners made it to the finish. To celebrate the courage and perseverance of these sports enthusiasts, Chris Lily James created a unique serie of  Marathon drawings, created by hand with her favorite precision fountain pen. 

Here you see a description in Dutch that characterizes your typical runner. A bit cheeky, but very recognizable. 

This drawing is the perfect gift for those who made it to the finish, fast or slow. It is the effort that counts and that effort deserves to become a forever memory on the wall.

The original drawing was made with an ink pen and India ink on 300 gsm and 21x30cm cold-pressed watercolor paper.
